I came across your site today and very ...G'Day,
I came across your site today and very pleased I am about that. I'm a regular visitor to Small Stream Reflections and saw your site listed there.
I've really enjoyed following your trip to Japan.I hope, some day, that I may have the opportunity to visit that country. The countryside, people, culture, history and varied traditional fishing styles fishing are extremely interesting. It always amazes me that a country that is so heavily populated, has areas of wilderness. Truly a land of contrasts.
I've been fly fishing for a few decades now but recently bought a short 8 foot tenkara rod to fish the local small streams that I frequent. Really enjoying the minimalist approach after years of wearing a fly vest with all sorts of, at most times, unused gear. I wont be throwing out my conventional fly gear but will reach for the tenkara outfit whenever I wade up a small creek or fish a local stocked lake here in Victoria, Australia.
Thanks for creating your blog. I shall now visit it regularly.
Cheers,
Steve. Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17349271164490121533noreply@blogger.com
